Hands down the price. This is the 3rd time I've stayed here in the last two years as its a great place to stop in celebration of making it past Chicago madness when driving westward. A conveniently located warm bed on and off the highway when travelling. I appreciated the clerk asked what floor level I preferred when checking in. Breakfast is basic, but beyond what you'd expect for the cost of the room.

It was a clean room, with a comfortable king-size bed, which my sister and I comfortably shared. There was a mini-fridge and a shower with a bathtub. Since this was a lodge / motel-style building, we accessed our room from the outside (not from an interior hallway).

The price for what you get is strong. Great sheets' thread count, newly remodeled, good location right off the highway, and decent (but carb heavy) breakfast. Also, fulfilled the specific requests I made. This is the second time I stopped here for a solo road trip from East to West, and I'll stay here again.

I flew from Tucson, Arizona to Chicago O'Hare for my mother's memorial and to visit lifelong friends. The location of the SureStay was excellent as I took the Van Galder bus to Rockford and the bus terminal was right across the street from the motel. My relatives ate a lot at the Thunder Bay Grill next door so that was a great asset as well. The staff of the SureStay all were fantastic especially Vee, the lady at the front desk; she was extremely kind and answered all my questions. All staff were great there at the front desk and the cleaning crew were also fantastic. You all get an A+ as I work in education. When I come back to Rockford, my hometown, next year, I am definitely coming back to the SureStay. The SureStay is in a great location, very clean, friendly staff, great breakfast, and offers great value prices.

I requested a handicap accessible room because of my disability. I love the fact that we were situated on the third floor, and my service dog was able to stay with me for my assistance when my son and I checked in, the receptionist at the front desk was going to charge us $15 per night for my service dog.  However, with my son informed her that the service dog was for my mothers disability, she immediately stated that I would not be charged that additional fee.  I look for it. Every time I travel to visit my parents here, I will certainly stay at this hotel with you available handicap accessible rooms.

I love the size of the king room and the free breakfast is good. The price was excellent for a Saturday.

Staff was very attentive and efficiently received and checked us in. Breakfast staff greeted guests, maintained an immaculate food station and stocked throughout breakfast time.

The location is good. The room was very quiet and nice. It was very pleasant surprise after reading all the negative comments. Our room was on third floor so it was protected by the locked hallway door. First two floors seemed to have just a room door outside. We were really happy with our room

Freshly renovated, clean room, standard cold breakfast with waffle maker, and when I got into our room I received a call from the front desk asking if we were happy with our room, and the price was right.😊
